Canal Operations position in Firestone/Ft. Lupton area. Job entails delivering water to shareholders throughout growing season on 11 mile long ditch. Duties include but are not limited to- taking/communicating water orders, operating head gates, record keeping, maintaining easement (to include weed control, burning, road grating, 5’ mower operation, etc.). This position at times is physical. A valid driver’s license and background check is required. Knowledge of farm and/or construction equipment is required. Knowledge of ditch operations is a plus. Knowledge of Excel is a plus. Must be able to work well with others, and alone. Must be self-motivated and self starter. . Salary range is $35-$44K depending on experience.
