Department of Nursing Open Position: Program Director-Graduate Nursing Program St. Catherine University in St. Paul/Minneapolis is a comprehensive Catholic university with the nationメs largest college for women at its center. Founded by the Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet in 1905, the University integrates liberal arts and professional education within the Catholic traditions of intellectual inquiry and social teaching. Associate and Graduate programs enroll both women and men. The Department of Nursing invites applicants for a 10 month ranked faculty position as Program Director for the Graduate Nursing programs beginning June 1, 2011. Rank and salary commensurate with education and experience. Responsibilities: Program Director is accountable for student learning in the Department of Nursing by fulfilling responsibilities related to professional, academic and accreditation standards in nursing, remaining consistent with the St. Catherine University mission and Department of Nursing standards for curriculum, faculty assessment and evaluation. Requirements: Masterメs degree in nursing with an earned doctorate, preferably in nursing, 3 years teaching experience in higher degree nursing education, knowledge of nursing practice and health care systems and evidence of scholarship and service to the profession. Must be eligible for RN licensure in the State of Minnesota. Administrative experience in nursing education and experience in grant writing and/or administration preferred.
