Tasks:
- Repairs on turnout gear
- Sewing Patches
- Occasional light gear tear down and putting back together
- Laundry, hanging up garments
- Preferred but not necessary light computer skills
(scanning & imputing repairs into our record keeping system)

We need someone who works well with others,
takes direction well and is up for new tasks as
this department grows. The gear repairs are time
sensitive so stations can have their turnout gear
back in service. Someone with a sense of urgency,
but more importantly, someone who does quality
work is needed. We need someone who will be
able to grow with us and learn the ins and outs
of these repairs. Eventually, this candidate will be
trained to become NFPA 1851 Certified to repair
turnout gear. The hours are 8-5 Monday to Friday.

Skills, know how to calculate reates for LTL using CZarlite and understand contact using terms such as FAK, NMFC class, FSC, know how to spot quote air expedited freight, know how to benchmark truckload rates, know how Ocean Feight Fowarders operate, experience with vendor/supplier management and routing guide management,understand how border crossing work & partner with Import/Export on execution.
